Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ParallelForce processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
1. Controller and contact
- Controller: Camilo Andres Verdugo Gunther
- Address: Roonstrasse 23a, 76137 Karlsruhe, Germany
- Email: contact@parallelforce.de
- Platform: ParallelForce
2. Overview of this website
This website is a purely informational marketing site. It does not contain contact or sign-up forms, does not set marketing cookies, and does not load third-party trackers, advertising, or external scripts. Calls to action are links (for example an email link or a booking link); no personal data is submitted to us through forms on this site. Only if you consent, we collect first-party usage statistics as described in Section 8; if you decline, no such data is collected.
3. Categories of personal data we process
A) Contact and support data (when you email or book a call)
If you contact us by email or book a call, we process the information you provide in that communication — such as your name, email address, company, and the content of your message. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
B) Server log data (hosting)
Like virtually every website, our hosting provider automatically collects technical data in server logs when pages are requested (for example IP address, date and time, requested resource, browser and device metadata). This is limited to what is technically necessary to operate the site securely and reliably and is not merged with other data.
C) Business relationship data (prospects and customers)
For prospective and existing customers we process business contact data (name, work email, company, role) as well as, where applicable, contractual and billing data. ParallelForce runs on the customer’s own infrastructure; we do not process the customer’s code, project data, or AI prompts on our systems as part of the service.
D) Website usage statistics (only with your consent)
If you accept analytics, we collect first-party usage statistics: a random identifier, the page path, the referring site’s origin, the time of the visit, and your browser’s user-agent string. We do not store your IP address for this purpose, and no data is shared with third parties. See Section 8.
4. Purposes of processing and legal bases
We process personal data only for specified purposes and legal bases under Article 6 GDPR:
- Responding to inquiries and booking requests — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps requested by the data subject).
- Performance and administration of contracts (pilots, integration projects, licenses) — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Security, abuse prevention, and service reliability of this website and our operations — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in secure operations).
- Legal compliance (for example retention and tax duties) — Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
5. Recipients, processors, and international transfers
We do not sell personal data. We share data only where necessary to operate:
- Hosting provider of this website (server logs; hosting within the EU where possible).
- Our own server infrastructure for the first-party, consent-based usage statistics described in Section 8 (no third-party analytics provider).
- Communication and scheduling tools used to answer inquiries and arrange calls or demonstrations.
- Accounting/tax services where required by law.
Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, transfers are based on valid GDPR mechanisms, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), and supplementary safeguards where required. Providers process data according to their own privacy terms in addition to our contractual controls.
6. Retention periods
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the stated purposes and legal obligations:
- Inquiries: retained as needed to resolve the request and demonstrate compliance, generally up to 24 months unless earlier deletion is requested and legally possible.
- Server logs: retained for a limited period consistent with operational and security needs.
- Contractual and billing data: retained for the duration of the business relationship and as long as legal retention duties (for example tax law) require.
After expiry of the applicable retention period, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized.
7. Your rights under GDPR / DSGVO
You have the following rights, subject to legal conditions:
- Right of access (Article 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Article 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR)
- Right to object (Article 21 GDPR), especially to processing based on legitimate interests
- Right to withdraw consent at any time (Article 7(3) GDPR), without affecting prior lawful processing
To exercise your rights, contact contact@parallelforce.de.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority in Germany or your place of residence in the EU.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use one strictly necessary local storage entry to remember your cookie choice. Storing your decision is required to honour it and is exempt from consent under Section 25(2) TDDDG.
With your consent, we also use first-party usage analytics. When you accept, a script generates a random identifier (a UUID) and stores it in your browser for up to 30 days, and sends the following data to our own server:
- the random identifier (Id)
- the page path (pathname)
- the referring site’s origin (referrer)
- the time of the visit (timestamp)
- your browser’s user-agent string (user_agent)
Purpose: measuring how our website is used (usage statistics). Legal basis: your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. No IP address is stored for this analytics. The data is processed on our own infrastructure; it is not shared with third parties and is not used for cross-site tracking or advertising.
Raw records are deleted after 30 days; only aggregated statistics may be retained longer. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Withdrawing stops collection and deletes the stored identifier, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
We do not use marketing cookies or third-party trackers. If we introduce further technologies, we will update this policy and obtain consent where required.
9. Security measures
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls and least-privilege principles, and logging and monitoring for security events.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. The “Last updated” date indicates the latest revision.
